Manager – Lorraine Marshall

My name is Lorraine Marshall, I have over 33 years experience with learning disabilities, the last 17 years as manager of Valdigarth. I have a NVQ Level 4 in management and care and also hold a NVQ assessors award, a city and guilds teaching certificate and I am up to date with all mandatory and relevant qualifications. I consider myself to be professional yet approachable to both staff and service users and have a good relationship with both service users and their families.

Deputy Manager – Tracy Oswald

Tracy has worked here for over 12 years and has been deputy for the past 3 years. She has NVQ Level 3 in care and is up to date with all mandatory and relevant qualifications. She is well liked by both staff and service users and is very involved with arranging and participating in outdoor activities. Tracy also has qualifications in hair and beauty therapy and uses these to pamper and benefit the service users.

We have a close knit team of 7 care staff all of who come from the local community and bring differing and diverse skills to he home. Valdigarth recognises the importance of staff training and development and staff receive a detailed induction programme and then undertake a NVQ qualification.
